thankful ladder…

so last year we had a thankful “tree” …
but when we moved our packers THOUGHT the twigs were rubbish…
oops…
oh well…
so i peeked around the house and thought… why not use our ladder!
 

a ladder… sure… why not!
ANYTHING works!


we’re at our beginning stages… a few days in… and already i can FEEL a shift.

it is so easy to focus on what is not right…
the things that could be fixed… be better… be changed.

frankly our lives are far from perfect.
we’re human… we have struggles… hurts… pain…
we will always need some fixing in some way shape or form.
we are ever growing… ever changing………… THANKFULLY!

focusing on ALL the good… there IS a shift!
you SEE so clearly ALL the great gifts around you!

we have SO much for which to be GRATEFUL… be THANKFUL!

i ADORE this one lil bit made!


i’ll post again as we near the end…
should be fun to see all the thankful GROW!

random thoughts… YA THINK

thursday… ALREADY!
wow!
hasn’t this week been going by FAST?


today…
we are expected to have record heat… 70 degrees…
it is going to be a GORGEOUS day!


headed out this morning to meet with the WY dept of revenue/tax.
WY has such a low population… they actually meet with you face to face!
like she said on the phone… “we do things a bit differently here in WY”!

ever get a message from someone and it COMPLETELY catches you off guard…
and it makes you cry… in a good way?
i got one of those yesterday… i am convinced those are little kisses from above…
he knows when you need a little lift.

working on a list of things i want to do before i turn 40…
any suggestions… things you think i must do?

all the creative fun!
there are SOOOOOO many neat people in this world…
i find myself shaking my head OFTEN in awe!

had my first peppermint mocha of the season yesterday… in the red cup…
i think i had forgotten just how good they were!

off to preschool… then to smile for the DMV’s camera…
hmmmm… or should i?
i always panic when i stand on that taped line…
”do i smile”… “do i not smile”…
i think i might smile!

aren’t they made for walking?

you put them on and you WALK that path!


well…
i was a little stuck.

woke up… knew it had to be a boot day… BUT…
having one of those…
“where exactly do you begin”?

when there is SO much…
you’re SO behind!

i was feeling pinched!
pulled.
in THIS direction and THAT direction.

i felt my head spinning… started on one thing… got pulled away…
over and over again.
you KNOW!

a million little things… ALL important… all eventually have to get done.


there was no focus… i was all over the place.
. . . . . . . . . . . . . .

i sat down…
took a deep breath and threw it all up in the air!

not because “to heck with it”… it all means too much…
but because i had to remind myself… yet again…
we’re not SUPPOSED to do it all on our own!
it IS too much.

there are times… days… MOMENTS…
i just need His light to shine a bit brighter!
lead the way… show me… help me… make me… get it all done.
AND there are times when His light IS shining but i am not seeing.

it sure is great to know HE is ALL KNOWING… ALL GOOD… ALL THE TIME.
even when i don’t see… HE DOES… HE’S THERE.

we just need to LET GO… and LET HIM.
HIS light will shine… HE will lead… HE will guide… HE will help…
when we make room in those boots.

”whew”… i love knowing we don’t have to fill ‘em all on our own.
AND i love that HE gave me a little reminder!

it sorta was like a buzz in the ear… it flew by!

it was REALLY cold so this bug buzzed about for a bit…
then took refuge back at the hive!


after all the door to door…
we headed down to our neighbors for some fun!
i have to say… we sure hit the trick or treat jackpot with our new friends…
this neighborhood is FULL of GREAT families… the WAY fun kind!


today…
i am thinking… i shouldn’t have had so much candy.
thinking… i had A LOT.
thinking…  pulease it’s only one day.
thinking… i better throw out all the candy that’s left over.
thinking… there is a TON left over.
thinking… i might go grab a snickers.  :)

i am eager for this new week!
November is my FAVORITE month of the year…
my FAVORITE time of the year!

and after falling way behind last week…
gotta gear up the ‘ol wings for some high flying… LOTS of buzzing around!
i have a feeling it’s going to be a goodie though… don’t you?

oink oink… i mean whoo whoo…

i’ll just say this… all the signs were there!
plus… found out yesterday our neighbors…
whom we were at a party with last weekend… had confirmed cases this week.

THANKFULLY they’re okay…
AND
i am happy to say… whooo hoooing really…
that we are busting out of this sick corral too!
i pray this WAS our “flu” whichever variety… for the season… and we’re DONE!

the girls are MUCH better… no fever… 
one went back yesterday & one will be back to school today.

it is AMAZING how it sometimes takes GETTING sick…
to realize just how awesome it is to be WELL!
i may not be 100% quite yet… BUT i feel like a new gal!
”thank you Lord… thank you for our health”!
this gal has lots of catching up to do… SLOW though… not too fast…
want to make sure this animal is GONE!

i have to say… i think i am really looking forward to a mini reeses cup on saturday…
um hmmm… i am!
